Early Communication
Misunderstandings between people cause a lot of problems.  People wait to say how they feel; it grates on them and magnifies, and finally it's a big deal.
Ask other people how they see it and how they feel, and tell them how you see it and how you feel early on.
When people talk without high emotion, little problems melt away and don't become big ones.

Positive attitude


You've got to overcome adversity, fight those that work against you, deal with the biggest problems in the organization, deal with regulation and red tape, take ultimate responsibility for it all - and still have enough positive attitude and confidence left over to rally the team and make people feel like they are at the right place.

What I feel about me...
What I feel about me is what I feel about others and the world.  It's why some of us see it one way, and others see the same thing another way.
We must first turn inward to make outward changes.  We can never fix our outer world if our inner world is broken.  It's ok to ask for help.  In fact we must, because the patterns of thought we have are the ones that created our problem, and we can't fix it with the same thoughts.
When the man is all together, his world is all together.

Gossip will kill your culture and ruin your company. It's when a person talks about someone negatively, critically or sarcastically when the person is not present.

Tell your people what the definition is, and then tell them, "We don't do that here. We are here to support each other and bring out the best each of us has, even though we don't all perform to the same level."

Then set the example - without exception !

It's never "enough."

How much is enough?


A friend of mine asked me, "How much is enough for me ?"
I can only eat so much of food, and i can only take up two square meters when i sleep.
"How much do I need?" em....................

This question apply to my business and for thoese business people who do it for $$$; but a good one doesn't. "Enough" is not the point.

I told him I do it because I love my job, and I want to make a positive difference to my user. I want to express myself, thrill myself with the pursuit, and push myself to the boundaries. If I retired (young or old), what the heck would I do ? emmm.............I'd be wasting my talent, and discontinuing my contribution. I'd veg out - and probably die shortly thereafter....................
I keep going, doing my very best, no matter what the outcome. It's never enough.! USERS HAVE NEVER ENOUGH !

If things aren't going well for you...


Look. There is no failure, only feedback. The market is saying "Doing this thing in this way at this place at this time right now gets you these results". It's for you to take the feedback and do something different to change the results. Sometimes, what we can do different is change what we expected. If we expected much more and we don't get it, we become frustrated and angry and bitter. Our self talk then becomes our worst enemy.

The idea that we are older now, so we should be in a whole different "higher" place, can really interfere with the how we think. Reset your thinking. End the pity party. Dust yourself off. Do something different. And do your work Get out there and help or serve someone.

Often the problem is not the real problem, its your response; how you think about the problem becomes the real problem.

And that you have control over. Right?
